Indeed so but provided your machine has been kept well and salt used regularly (if you live in a hard water area that is) it should last for many a more year to come. I’d be surprised if , given the ideal working environment, that model should at least be good for 10 years plus plus!Your money, your call my friend. 😀
Well, my hope is that the new NEFF one will give me 8-10 years service and I won’t have to think about it once it’s installed.

Having a new kitchen installed and as the current Bosch Integrated dishwasher is 6 years old and,It would be interesting to realise the model number of your existing dishwasher? My suspicion is that it is a far better product than the ones you are enquiring about? .
Model I currently have is the Bosch SGV53E03, purchased September 2004. It was never an all singing / dancing model but would be interested in any opinions
Whilst it’s a fine machine my concern is that I will need to purchase a new fixing / fitting kit due to the fact that as our last kitchen “disintegrated” some of the door fixing brackets have gone missing. Also, a problem I previously experienced, is if the existing machine does pack up in the next couple of years you inevitably find that when you come to fix the door panel on a replacement machine existing screw holes in the panel will interfere when trying to fix it onto the new machine – you can never get the same level of fixing as the screw fail to “tack” properly.
Possibly I’m being a tad “extravagant” but when you’re spending silly money of building work, kitchen fitting etc. £351 for a NEFF doesn’t seem too bad.

Thanks Don for your speedy response – Think the NEFF is the way to go and the a cost of £351 delivered seems a great price.
One final question – when it says “Stainless steel/polinox interior” – does this mean some of the internal cabinet is plastic (the door?) or do you think the polinox refers to the basket coating? Just curious as current dishwasher has a fully stainless steel interior.

Hi
I’ve got the same fridge as yourself and it’s recently started over working i.e. freezes everything instead of refrigerating. Would really appreciate your help on these 2 points:
1. Did you manage to get the correct thermostat for the fridge as every where I look I get the result that the spare part has been discontinued. Guessing there might be a generic replacement but if you can point me in the right direction would be great.
2. If you did fix a new thermostat how easy was it and did you manage to work out how to get the front panel off and such like. I’ve had a cursory look but even removing the top “strip” where the temperature dial is seems to be problematic (even though I’ve removed the two obvious screws that hold it in place.
If you, or anyone else has the time to reply would be really grateful.
Many thanks
