Thanks for the input. I have checked the thermal cut out and it is open circuit…. so I guess that needs to be replaced.

Heater looks ok at about 40 ohms.

I will need to check the fan (although there is no significant noise from it.) as per helo_75’s notes.

Any other idea’s as to what can cause the thermal cut-out to go ?

Also .. I have looked on a couple of spares sites and cant locate the part – any clues ?
