ParticipantOr is it like the one in this video, that I need to go round the back? There does seem to be some other screws on the back of the oven to maybe get the whole back off from the inside? Any tips?

ParticipantI thought I’d try testing the element, as it seemed most likely, but when I took the fan/element cover off the back, there didn’t seem to be screws holding the element in but some odd headless light grey thing (unless the screw heads had been sheared completely off?) anyone know how to remove the element?

ParticipantShe didn’t say… it blew 2 fuses in 2 weeks though, second time making the whole house go dark. I’m 2 hours away, so can’t really do any DIY fixes.

Just to follow up: I got the new controller, replaced it, and it seems to all be working fine. Thanks to all who helped!

Fair enough: no one has yet answered the question though: how can I be sure that the board IS the problem?

Thanks folks, so I found the unit available on Amazon for cheaper: there’s no obvious blown tracks. I can always return the new unit to amazon if it doesn’t solve the problem.

Is there any way to be sure of that before I shell out 88 quid for a new control module?
