ParticipantRe: Hotpoint BWM129 mysterious water fill
OK, thanks for that.
I think the problem must be the outlet pipe because it connects to the sink drain and flows slightly up to the ubend before going through the wall to the outside drain.
Had this set up for almost 3 years and never had this problem before though.
I will try to lift the w/m drain hose higher.

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint leak
Hi Jim,
thanks for the info.
I have checked the filter already and it was clear.
My wife does tend to put too much detergent in so I will make sure the drawer is clean and cut down on the soap and see how things go.Thanks

ParticipantWhirlpool problem
Hi,
I still have the same FF and the cure for the recurring problem is to simply defrost. No new parts or expense necessary.
I now have another problem, the FF started making a loud clicking noise which I traced to the lower right corner where there is a plastic box with a small viewing panel. Inside is a circuit board. I can get the clicking to stop by opening and closing the fridge door but it starts again when I open the freezer door. Also there is no power to the control panel. Apart from that it is working normally.
Thanks in advance

ParticipantRe: Whirlpool temperature problem
Hi,
It’s one year later and I’m having the same problem again.
No error codes but the same hot weather.
Is there anything I can do to unstick the damper?hanks

ParticipantRe: Whirlpool temperature problem
Ok, thanks for that, the problem seems to have rectified itself now as all is well.
I didn’t get an error code. Do you know why the damper would freeze and can I get to it if it happens again?Steliz
