Boy, you’re dragging out some of the more obscure ones now.

Nothing droopy about any of my hoses.

I’ve tried a bit of latteral thinking away from the situation and I’m left with : Faulty programmer ????

Because the pump will pump on certain settings I’m wondering if the cam(s) are worn on particular programmes and not others.

Thanks very much for the suggestions, I appreciate you taking the time to help.

    I’m baffled.

I’ve taken everything out again and double checked it.

I’ve put it on a rinse and spin cycle. It goes through the rinse cycle then it pumps out half the water and then comes up with error #4 leaving half the water still in there.

If I turn it off and then on again and turn it to spin only it will then pump the rest of the water out no problem and go through the spin cycle and complete without an error.

If i put it on a standard wash cycle I’ll either get error #2 or error #3 and then have to turn off turn on again select the rinse and spin programme and get the error #4 above.

That means that the machine has got to be manually restarted twice after the initial programme selection in order to finish the wash. Kinda defeats the “automatic” part of the automatic washing machine.

I’m all out of ideas on this one.

I’ve now got to the point where it would have been cheaper to buy another machine. The time spent repairing it had I have gone to work instead and earnt overtime i would have earnt more than a new machine costs! DOH!

done that ! lol, first thing i checked – that’s nice and clear.

Or rather – there’s no change in that.

I just got error #4 come up, so looks like its going for a full house of errors.

I’m gonna take a look at the pipe connections of the pressure bottle, just in case the ratchet grip one has slipped or something. I’m sure the machine filled up on a rinse cycle to a higher level than it should…..

Hi, I’m having similar problems of late with error #2 and #3.

    Pump is working.

I’ve ran it on empty to view the levels and noticed that whilst it pumps out water there’s still some sitting inside the drum at the end of the cycle.

I’ve removed the pressure bottle and cleaned it out thinking that it may be that, it’s caused a problem in the past and also its good practice to do it every so often anyway.

The waste hose on the pump outlet was also goitered up inside to a degree and I’ve broken that down inside and flushed it through so its now clean.
I also removed the sump hose from the drum and pump and gave that a good clean.

What’s left that I can try ? I haven’t taken the pump out to “overhaul” as I was unsure if there was anyway it could be serviced other than making sure the water res is always clear of any debris.

Thanks in advance for any help that can be provided.
