the area where the damage is appears to be coming from the 3 pin type connector with the grey wires. I will chase back to see which component it is connected to.

ParticipantYou were right, something has blown as there is a clear visible burn mark on the white plastic (near the round dial area).
Two PCBs.
1. Large PCB where i can see a burn mark on the board
2. User input PCB which controls the buttons on the front faceIs it a simple case of replacing the board with a like for like?

ParticipantJust stripping it down, have a screw thats seized up. Will report back once i get to view the PCB.

Is this the PCB user interface board? Are you aware how many PCBs there are on this machine?
