    Ok tested the thermistor and its fine.. Had mate mate test the thermostat and he could not get any reading. the red switch seemed a bit dodgy, as in very flimsey.

    The main element looks a bit grey/black in colour but the reading was ok.

    Im really starting to get miffed with this bloody pile of crap. Last time I used an engineer via this forum, he turned up and tried to turn a very simple capacitor issue into a major “oh it needs a new pump” issue.. Yeah OK..

    Anyone with some straight forward advice would be much appreciated.
