Ive had a sinilar problem but managed to fix it.
Our pump was humming but the dishwasher wasn’t working. After taking the integrated door off and the lower front panel (switching electric off first) I too noticed water in the bottom tray. I soaked it up with kitchen roll, switched on and watched as it started to work. However I noticed the thicker pipe on the right side (in the picture above) was leaking from the connection so I stopped the dishwasher, switched the power off again and noticed that the pipe was loose. It must have worked loose over the 4 years we have had it. I put it back and made sure it was tight (it has a clip that tightens once you take the pressure off it).
Everything is fine now.
So first thing for me would be to dry the base, switch on and run it and see what happens. If it’s a leak it will be obvious.
