Ok I have checked the door and there is no cabling in the hinge so that is not the cause. The freezer door has a mass of them and checking them wont be easy. It was the fridge door that was opened when it blew though. What else should i check before installing a new board to ensure that doesn’t blow as well?

    Cheers

    Cheers Pal

Im not at home at the min but via facetime have established that the main board fuse was blown and went again when replaced straight away.
The front of the wall between fridge/freezer has become noticeably hot at the front between the 2 doors prior to it breaking down. Any idea what the cause of that would be? I will check door cable when home as its still shorting somewhere.

    Thanks

Re: Hotpoint LTF 11M132. Not starting no fault codes.

Tried door switch and it checks out also wiring isnt broken.
Also found on another search a self diagnosis mode where you power on and off and hold P button for 3 seconds and is supposed to start testing each component but all seemed to go as planned but failed to start on closing door.

Apparently the fault did rectify once but failed after 3 uses and not worked since.
Check pump was clear also and gave wiring the once over.
Should a fault code just show up on LED or is there a mode to check stored faults.

    Thanks

Its integrated so is this accessed from inside or outside the door?
