    Re: Zanussi washine machine problem

Have tried slamming the door a few times. This didn’t work but I understand the logic. There are two screws on the front next to the catch. Do I remove these to get to the switch. Don’t worry, I will isolate the power first!

Re. the pump/ motor. May these be suspect because the machine didn’t fully pump out on it’s last use? Anyway, I don’t know how to take the machine apart but will if I have to.

Thanks for your replies so far.

To do this, I selected a cycle and then removed all parts of the cycle apart from the spin and then pressed go and nothing happened. By the way, the door locked light was on throughout.

A bit of extra info. The door locked light does not come on until I select a washing cycle. This is a correction from my first post.

When you say, the plug, what do you mean? The waste pipe?

I currently have the dishwasher on test in the middle of the kitchen on a couple of pieces of wood to raise it off the ground.
