ParticipantRe: Washing Machine Tripping Electrics
i got a heater for £6 off ebay working unit. i had a spare 13amp plug and a new filter cost £20. so ive spent £26 plus my time.
If its the motor would the machine turn on if all the power lines/cables where disconnected from it?stuart_faust
ParticipantRe: Washing Machine Tripping Electrics
Ive tried disconnecting the motor with the block and ground , like its not attached and it still wont even turn on.
I can get the machine to plug in without tripping the electrics by disconnecting the front control panel but obviously cant turn it on.

tried a new mains filter still trips. i can disconnect the pump or the motor and still wont trip but no power.
Could it be the front panel now?

ParticipantRe: Washing Machine Tripping Electrics
Ive disconnected the heater element and the electrics in the house dont trip. the washing machine does not turn on at all , does this mean it should be the heater element that’s at fault?
Any help would be great? -
