Participant[SOLVED] Whirlpool ADG 7560/1 Not filling F6 code

It was indeed a broken wire (one of the thickish blue ones)and in fact the same one which had broken several years ago but in a different place. I took the wire out of the bunch and re-taped the rest back up again which gave plenty of loose wire and there was also a bit of give in the section from the door to enable me to solder the joint.
Thanks again

Cheers Dave
I actually had a fault a number of years ago (I can’t remember the exact fault but flow meter was suspected) which turned out to be a broken wire in the door and the engineer took off the plastic cover thing which they are housed in. It did seem like a very bad design which puts strain on the wires.
I will take off panel at the weekend and investigate further. Although from listening I don’t think I can hear any water entering.
If i need to replace a wire is there a specific type and what panels do i need/not need to remove?

Cheers Dave
That was exactly it. It had been so long since I had removed it I couldnt remember taking screws out and its even hard to see how they hold it in place but its back on and still working. Now I just need to get a slim hose clip as I dont have a crimper to fit the ones supplied with the motor…….

ParticipantMotor Removal – Whirlpool ADG7560/1
I’d be grateful for help on how to access the motor on this machine for fitting new one :eeek:
1. What panel do I need to take off to access motor?
2. Does water inlet hose have to be disconnected and supply shut off?
3. What size are the security screws that I need to remove as I’ll need to get the relevant bit
Cheers

I think I read somewhere that the White Knights are rebadged Haiers(?)
If I get at least another year out of the Whirlpool it might be better than spending twice as much on a poor quality build chinese machine

Bump 😀
£115 for a motor on this site vs buy a new White Knight integrated machine for £230??
Am I right in thinking a Whirlpool is a better machine than a White Knight? Integrated disahwashers seem so damned expensive but is a 6 year old machine which is used every day worth repairing?

It turns out that the motor for this model is £116 on this site.
I have been without the machine for over 6 months and I can hardly remember the fault but as far as I recall it came on, started to wash and after maybe 10 mins drained and stopped. Can’t remember the fault code but the guy who came out is usually reliable and after checking it over said it was the motor. He happened to have a second hand one in his van(!) which worked for a while then went again. To be fair, he refunded the money for the part but I would hate to buy a brand new one if it didn’t need it.
Would be grateful for your advice?

Cheers for that – that’s of course if I got the right motor. There seem to be several for this machine – I suppose the best thing to do would be to remove the old one.
