Re: Whirlpool washer problem – timer fault?

Sorry, I’ve just reread my post and realised I wasn’t at all clear. It’s the stepper motor on the timer that wasn’t turning well or mostly at all. I’ve just been round the machine checking door switches etc and everything looks okay. Haven’t checked the main motor (other than for approx resistance of the windings from the controller end). Found a couple of tracks on the door switch connections on the control PCB starting to lift off the board, but bypassing them made no difference.
