I just took the PCB out. Somethings definitely blown on there. Charred on both sides and R20 or C10 are looking favourite. I’m going to test them and possibly replace. But it’s definitely the board so I think I’m going to replace it if my DIY fails. I don’t suppose you could help with a part number again? Cheers,

Sorry, yes. I can set it to spin and then press start. It will start the spin cycle but just for a few seconds before it starts to fill and leds start to flash. So just to confirm, its the PCB, being the control board at the bottom and front of the machine?

Thanks for your replies chaps. Well I’ve had a bit more of a play and I’ll try and offer a bit more information. From power up and door closed and the start button not yet pressed, the machine appears normal until about 12 flashes of the door led. Then there is a click from somewhere near the top of the machine (relay/switch maybe?) and the fault condition appears and machine starts to fill. I have to power off and wait for the click before I can turn on the machine otherwise the fault condition appears the instant power is applied. If I press ‘start’ before the fault condition it will start the selected program. But the fault condition returns again within about 10-15 seconds. Hope that makes sense…..

OK. I replaced the Thermistor. It was the right part number. Unfortunately the fault has not cleared. So the big question I suppose is, do I go ahead and replace the control board or give in and call an engineer?

Considering the part is probabaly worth over 80 pounds plus call out fee plus labour I’m even considering a new machine (not an Indesit!). Any advice?

Thanks for the reply Penguin. No I haven’t checked that one. Is that at the top of the machine with similar blue wires? I’ll have another look. Thanks,
