Re: Candy Evo 1682d 1-80 motor not spinning.

So after a bit of investigation the Tacho seems to be preforming okay, the carbon brushes still have plenty of travel left in them. So this leads me to think its either the motor or a module.

I’m not exactly willing to turn my kitchen into a test bed for a motor so I have decided to use a fixed price repairer does anyone have any experience with these or any recommendations? I’m leaning towards British Gas as they seem to guarantee their work for a year.

    Thoughts?

Could it be the Tachometric Coil? I will have access to a multi meter this afternoon but without a wiring diagram I’d be poking around blindly so any pointers would be gratefully received

Sorry I should have made it clearer. The water does go into the drum and just sits there until you pump it out.
