H! Full functionality restored after fitting a replacement aqua control hose assembly (water inlet hose with solenoid).

Measured the dc resistance of the new solenoid coil at 3.7 K Ohms before fitting, with nothing else attached. It is clear that an I30 fault code isn’t exclusively a water leak tripping the flood float switch.

It can be an open circuit solenoid coil or a similar open circuit in the connecting leads/plugs & sockets to and from the float switch and solenoid. (If continuity checking in this area always remove the power plug since this circuit is at full mains voltage. ) Thanks for your helpful information re fault code diagnosis.

Thanks for that info on the triac and fault code list; I feel a little more confident. Since the inlet solenoid is definitely open circuit it will have to be replaced before we go any further. Put on order today. Will report back when fitted. In the mean time will have a “familiarisation” look around the controller although I’ll leave out any reverse engineering to draw a circuit until I know there is definitely something wrong in there.
