Re: Flashing Lights on Drying Cycle

    Thank you very much 🙂

I’ve just updated my partner. Despite knowing NOTHING about appliances he wants to have a look at it over the weekend (rolling my eyes here) and he’s concerned that if we get someone other than Hotpoint, then any parts might be expensive.

The other numbers on a sticker say 56871 and 810160101.

Behind the kick strip is a red plastic circle with a hand crossed out on it and a date stamp 14/10/2008.

Thank you very much 🙂 I probably do use the dryer quite a lot. I put washing on the line when the weather’s good, but small things like underwear and baby clothes often get dried in machine.

    Lights lit (bottom up):

    Lock
    Dry
    Spin

It does spin ok when in washing mode btw.

Inside the door there is a sticker which says “WDL520P” but I can’t find anything else on the machine.

    The clothes are not warm.

Re: Flashing Lights on Drying Cycle

I’ve just been to check. Where would I find the full number?

I put it on to dry to watch exactly what happened. It ran for 5 minutes, then all the lights next to the buttons flashed. The lights which say which part of the cycle it’s on/door lock etc don’t flash.
