Well problem solved, thanks Dave.
Tilted the machine to 45 degrees as said. (My wife was holding to it for some time!).
Disconected pipe from filter, and the other end big rubber bit that fixed onto bottom of drum. Not much gunge there, but cleaned it and the plastic ball was moving freely.
Managed to then disconnect the whole drain pipe assembley from the filter, including the drain reservoir to the very end. The drain reservoir had quite a bit of gunge in it.
The short black thin rubber pipe which runs from the drain reservoir to the top of the drum, was completely blocked. Managed to clear it, also where it goes into the top of the drum and where it goes into the drain reservoir.
Not sure what this pipe does, is it some kind of breather pipe?
Reconmected and done two washes and seems back to normal now, very relieved.
