In a word yes, but I’m simply answering your question and especially your term of phrase, namely “any”. Even Domestos only kills “99{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of household germs” after all said and done.(there’s always a hidden germ someone, with a microscope perhaps, has yet to discover)….

But seriously, the higher temperatures that a dishwasher attains coupled with the dispersal of detergent will indeed kill best part of all “germs”. By virtue of the fact that most (and I don’t include Ecover in this) contains chlorine based BLEACH…..a known and effective way of dealing with “germs”.

Bleach based detergents will clear away germs even at a lower temperature. Virtually all dishwashers will reach a temperature of at least 60 degrees in order they be classified as dishwashers in the first place!

Your Bosch machine is well capable of doing that and most, even the cheaper supermarket branded powders or tablets, will sanitise your crocks and cutlery safe enough to use.

    HTH? 😀
Thank you for all the info , much appreciated 🙂 .

If you’re still worried, you could always use a chlorine based dishwasher detergent like “bryta” – that should kill off more or less anything. Downside is your kitchen will smell a bit like an old fashioned swimming pool when you open the door 😉

Don’t think that reputable machine manufacturers or detergent manufacturers would have products on the market that don’t do the job when used as directed.
Thank you very much for all the info and advise ,very much appreciated.
