Re: Whirlpool More flashing Start lights!

    All working again!

I did take rinse aid dispenser off and clean but don’t believe that was it. I think original problem was pressure switch gunked up. In attempt to clean it (before removing it and cleaning it properly) I tried a hot water and washing up liquid soak. Having read other posts I noticed foaming problems and float switches – so ran two rinse cycles, de-foaming as best I could, plus it’s had 24hrs to settle down. Now I have run a normal wash cycle, which has completed successfully.

Many thanks – hopefully my experience will help someone else.

😀 Success! Wash cycle completed with no errors.
I guess water was not draining out from behind that grill where water level indicator was, so it thought (if machines do think?) that it still had water and hadn’t pumped it all out when it had.

    Many thanks again,

What a job that was!! 😡 – when I looked with mirror and torch it was pretty gunky behind the grill – toothbrush didn’t reach it, proding (gently)didn’t help, couldn’t see easy way to get black plastic grill off (which is pretty deep), so resorted to hydraulic action .. a water bottle full of warm water and squeezing it as hard as I could – slowly it cleared after a good half hour of effort- but it appears to have worked 😮 ! 🙂 !

I’ve just completed the rinse cycle with no errors – now trying a full wash and will report back.

Is there a way of getting that black water indicator grill off though to make it easier or chemical way of de-gunking?

Yours thankfully, (and with fingers crossed and the cleanest filters in the UK)

    Tony
