If anybody wants an unused fix-kit cheap, let me know. It should arrive with me in a few days… Just in time for the old fridge to be taken away.
I seem to have exactly the same symptoms as this poster. The sensors read 6.5 and 15 kOhms, and shorting or disconnecting the 6.5 kOhm sensor does not help in restarting the fridge. The board is not as dark brown as on the picture above, but it has some obvious signs of having gotten too warm in the same area.
Do you still have the fix-kit? Do you think it would have helped if it had arrived in time?
