The same thing happened to me -exactly the same symptoms – and I was able to resolve it by emptying water that had got into the base of the machine. This was achieved by first tipping the machine on it’s back and then putting it on it’s front with a number of towels in close attendance. I was very surprised to find that this did the trick. The question is why did this happen and how can I avoid it happening again?
