Re: Bosch SG569L12GB problem, pictures added

The Bosch engineer is indeed correct. Only clean water actually flows through this area. The gunk in this area is the same sort of gunk you find in washing machine dispenser tops (again only clean water enters this area). If the water from the tank did enter this area of the pressure chamber, then the detergent in the wash water would clear it away. The matrix does however get clogged up on the drain side (anti-syphon) due to greae deposits left over from the wash water. HTH 🙂

Re: Bosch Dishwasher error code E:09

E:09 relates to a fault in the heating circuit. This new range of bosch machines do not heat the water in the same way as the older range. There is no water pressure switch on the heater assembly as the circ pump contains the heater in one complete unit (heat-pump). The control module monitors the speed & current draw of the circ pump to ensure that there is water in the sump & it is also circulating. Your machine must be less than 2 years old, so should still be under warranty. Its not a DIY fix, it needs an engineer to sort it, as it is probably a fault with either the heat-pump or the control module.

    Re: Balay instructions required

Balay is a BSH brand in spain (same as Bosch). You can download your manual free from the Bosch website. Here- http://www.bosch-home.co.uk/quick-links … nuals.html Your model number should not have a dash in it when searching for the manual. Put 3VS341BD in the search box.

I wouldn’t change that machine unless absolutely necessary. The old saying “they don’t make em’ like they used to” really does apply in your case. Most new washers have moulded plastic tanks, where as yours is a stainless steel tank with a cast iron bearing cross. Your machine is much more robust than most newer models & should out last them as well 😀

    Re: Bosch SG569L12GB problem

There is probably water in the base of the machine causing the anti-flood float (aqua-stop system) to operate. You need to remove the water from the base & trace the cause of the leak.

You are looking in the right direction. That small pcb is the latching relay. The symptoms you are getting would suggest the latching relay pcb has failed. It is unlikely that somethings else has caused it.

No need to take the whole tank out. Just remove the front panel. Un-plug from the mains first. Release door seal fixing band, fold in the door seal. Unplug the door lock. 2 screws at bottom of front panel & one hiding behind soap drawer handle. Front panel will just pull away from the bottom & then drop away. You then get full access to the front of the tank.

It sounds like you have a bra-wire stuck in between the drum & tank. Usually wraps itself around the heater & catching on the drum as it turns. Shining a torch through the drum holes whilst turning the drum back & forth will show you whats stuck inside. You can gain access by either removing the heater element from the rear or the sump hose. Failing that, the front of the tank comes off by removing spring clips from the the front of the tank.

NEVER. Not advisable to short out the fuse.
