You kindly advised that I most likely had the same problem as others on this thread with my AEG Competence B1180-1 oven. The PNC code is: 944 181 726. Can you confirm that the part number required will be 8996619267611 as advised to the others (albeit different models). Can you also advise if this requires an engineer or is it something I could do myself?

As an aside someone mentioned to me the other day that 1 or 2 year warranties is illegal and in fact manuafactuers of such appliances are leaglly obliged to provide a 3 year warranty as standard. is this correct or just wishful thinking?
