    We get that up North Wales too. Next time you get a rude customer warn them to change their attitude or you will put the phone down and that you will not call out to them,They soon change their attitude. We had to put the phone down on one customer last week, but after a couple of days he soon came back grovelling.

    We warn work providers that we don’t cover a recall unless its exactly the same fault or we wont go out.
    We make sure we get another job number before we attend the appliance, it is unfair practice for you to cover another fault on the same appliance whether you were there a week ago or 3 months ago.

    We’ve had no end of trouble for the past month with deliveries. We used to be able to order up until 4pm for next day delivery then they changed it with out informing us and said we were lying about being able to order up until this time, we eventually proved it that we did.
    Then we started ordering before 3pm and the deliveries still weren’t coming next day, so now we have to order before 2pm just to make sure we get the order.
    Also when we have sent any orders on a saturday, recently they have been sending them by post with out informing us so we dont get the package till the end of next week but still charge us for carriage.

    The rep turns up once in a blue moon, when he does, nothing gets resolved. This week we have now taken all of their items out of our shop and have gone with a another company because we’ve had enough, Connect just don’t seem to be bothered anymore.

    Was anyone informed about this from Lofra because I wasn’t.
    Phoned them today because i’ve got loads of customers waiting for spares from them and they can’t tell me when im going to recieve the parts.

    Same here never got written confirmation, only found out when JTM sent a fax over saying they had bought A.I.S.
    Thought this was disgraceful behaviour just hope we get payment for recent jobs.

    Hope the agents for whirlpool realise whats going to happen, all their private work is going to dry up. There wont be any reason to do the work for whirlpool as no one will be able to afford to carry it on, they needed the private work to set against the cost of doing the in guarantee work.

    I don’t think the authorities will be to happy with statements coming from D&G about call out charges. They are completley misleading customers and should be put to rights.

    Well today our connect rep arrived have always got on with the fella but after today we’re fed up.
    Have waited over 10 week for returns,(this has been a common problem for over two years) asked rep whats going on basically he said it wasn’t his area or couldn’t give me an answer . So asked who to speak to, he said customer services wasn’t happy with that as me and the other lady in the office have rang them over and over again and nothing happend. We then asked for someone else to speak to ” I can’t tell you that” was his answer.

    The main response from the rep was “no one else has this problem” as if to say we are the ones being awkward.
    So this is my reason for the post I want to see if anyone has had any similar problems to prove we are not being funny.

    After today we are seriously considering to jack connect in but need to find another spare firm that can do next day delivery.

    the customer has been doing my head in all day for this element hopefully she can calm down now.
