replacement seal arrived today from UKwhitegoods 😀 speedy delivery or what.
so anyway i thought i would check the part to make sure it was right and apon removing the seal currently in use i notice it has split again after being on there for 3 weeks 😮
dont suppose i am doing something wrong ?????ukprometheus

if its the sticker on the side of the door there aint much left of it but i think its TYPE LS12-EV03 S/N FDW80 30714155 its a bit mangled the sticker

where would i find the rating plate 😯
and thanks so much for all your help fella, i checked this site for the the part number you quoted for the seal and it did not exist so i googled it and it looks the same but for ariston.
maybe the quality of the rubber is different depending on the supplier

well i have just ordered part number C00054862 from this site so maybe the ones i have been getting elsewhere are just cheap paton parts 😀
whats the inlet solenoid like to change

its the nut at the back of the cabinet with a seal in it that the spray arm pushes onto when you push the basket in 😀

hotpoint FDW80 😛 does that help 8) also when the unit is not in use it slowly fills up, but takes a few days
