you can just pull out the tacho off the back off the pump/motor, and refit the new one.
point of interest: there’s a large rather scary looking capacitor on the motor. I wasn’t brave enough to go near it…. suggest you don’t either.

Just found this post as my ZDT21001FA has started with this fault last week,,
There are just a few things that I hope people can help with…

• Did people start seeing this fault every time or intermittently? – For me it happens 1 or 2 times a week, but is increasing.
• Is this the part people purchased? – Washing Machine Motor Tacho Coil | PartsCentre

And yes, avoid that capacitor, had a run in with at.. 🙂
