Re: Soap powder left in drawer

I was afraid you’d say that 🙁 I have had a look at that part when I had the lid off a while ago, but it looked like the whole sub-assembly would have to be removed together, and I could not work out how to get it out. Is there anything like a guide to this?

Machine is an AEG Lavamat “75620 update” – not Bosch, sorry.

Thanks – how easy is it to replace the main PCB? I mean, physically I can do it no problem – but does it require setting up by a pro, or is it “plug and play”?

And if I do, what is the chance that it is something else (the burning smell wasn’t the PCB) that has fried the PCB – and it’ll just repeat itself?

I’ve checked the motor suppressor, looks ok.

I wouldn’t say it was just not completing the cycle. It doesn’t really start. From power on it just:

    – displays all segments and icons in the top display
    – displays “1PP” (not FF as I wrote earlier) in the front display
    – pumps out

It even does this if the door is open.
