Re: Bosch Tumble Dryer Cuts off (presumably it’s too hot)

    Hi Don, Martin

I changed the NTC Thermistor at the front of the machine but unfortunately the tumble dryer exhibits the same exact symptoms! is there another temperature thermistor/thermostat that I should try to change also? (at the back somewhere)?

    Thanks
    Chris

Re: Bosch Tumble Dryer Cuts off (presumably it’s too hot)

Thanks Martin, Don, I have ordered a replacement part from your shop’s website.
I am pleased to learn that I can replace this thermistor easily from the front; as I have never taken the tumble dryer apart before, any guidance of how to remove the front panel, and where to locate the suspect thermistor (before I start dismantling things!).
THANK YOU again for helping me.
    Best regards
    Chris

Re: Bosch Tumble Dryer Cuts off (presumably it’s too hot)

Thank you Martin – that was such a quick response!

Can you recommend where to purchase a replacement Thermistor, and any guidance in how easy it is to access & replace it? [I have some difficulty tracing much on the internet by searching for ‘Bosch Logixx WTS86516GB’, I wonder if it is known by some other name].

Yes – the machine has been cleaned regularly (from the front), i.e. removing debris (at the bottom of the loading door) & keeping the condenser clean (bottom left hand side).
I assume I can get access to replace this thermistor once I remove the back panel?

Thank you so much again Martin – Chris

    Re: WMD960 – F01 etc

THANKS iadom – all makes sense and will follow your recommend.

    I assume EMW means http://www.emwelec.co.uk ?

One final query if I may: any special advice in removing the PCB? Is it straight forward – just unplug cables and remove screws? Any particular tip?

    Thank you again!

    Re: WMD960 – F01 etc

    Hi Washman

Thank you for a very prompt response; however I am not sure it answers all my questions:

“Can you please provide any advise on (i) how to take the PCB out, and (ii) where best to purchase a replacement. Any concerns in using a refurbished PCB?

(finally! if I have to remove the motor again to get to the PCB do you have a trick for putting the belt back on again! I struggled doing this last night)”.

Thanks again – I am not very experienced in using these forums, but I greatly appreciate your support.

    Re: WMD960 – F01 etc

Very useful reply; my washing machine has a similar (f01) fault.

No obvious marks inside the machine and wiring all seems OK. Not knowing the motor is brushless (should have checked here!) I took the motor off, but now I put all back.

Can you please provide any advise on (i) how to take out the PCB out, and (ii) where best to purchase a replacement. Any concerns in using a refurbished PCB?

(finally! if I have to remove the motor again to get to the PCB do you have a trick for putting the belt back on again! I struggled doing this last night).

    THANK YOU!!!

Yes, I now have the machine’s details:

    Product Number: 91460141401

    Type: P6348670

    Model: WJD1357S

I hope these are the descriptions you were after. Again – THANK YOU!

Re: What is F27 on a Bosch Logixx8 WAS32466GB/05 washing mac

Hi Martin, Kwatt – MANY MANY THANKS to both for taking the trouble and time to reply to my request for help!

So, F27 suggests a fault with the Analogue Pressure Switch Part Number 619600. Can I ask one last big favour please – where do you suggest I buy a new component, and how easy is it to replace the old one (briefly – how do I get access to it and any special instructions to remove/replace it)?

Thank you very much again. I am happy to buy a new one and replace the old one provided you think it is reasonably straight forward.

    Indebted!

    Chris
