I have this ff. I have just noticed that it has ventilation ducts at the rear edge of the top.

I had the same problem. My wife had covered these ducts with boxes – In the manual it states that if these ducts are covered the ff will not maintain the required temperature.
I don’t know if it will be the solution to my problem, but worth checking
