    Thanks, I think this must be the reason….the room is pretty cold and the leaking doesn’t always occur. I’ll better monitor the situation the next few weeks and see what’s what.

    Thanks kwatt. I can’t believe I wrote “Washer Dryer”…..I mean ‘Heat Pump Dryer’. Sleep deprivation be like….can you change the heading?

    The thing with this leak is that is never happens when the Dryer is operating…..not a drop. Only after the cycle has finished and we go away and leave it for an hour or two….we return to a puddle underneath. The water collector gets emptied every cycle and is getting loads of water.

    I could only imagine that the condensor or refrigerant tank was building up frost that would slowly melt after a load was finished…..how else to explain this phenomenon?
