    Thanks for that dave, I’m just curious what the difference is tho like that one doesn’t have the d on the end. I’ve found several UK shops selling new ec4684 but not listing the .01d part. I also looked on the eaton website but couldn’t find any relevant information on the programmes or specifications.

    There was no hot water intake before regardless of temp setting. I assume it was either a loose/bad connection on the timer connector or something internal on the timer. I have found a cheap timer for sale tho but could do with some advice on how to align the gears on the water director???

    Thanks allsorts I’ll give that a try, I kind of gave up when I got to the timer assuming it might be buggered as clivejameson put it and might be a good idea to get wiring diagrams etc. I threw it back together to get one last wash out of it but as it happens the hot solenoid now OPENS! lol but I think i’ve ruined the timer.
