Re: Dyson DC44 water damage help required
Hi
Don’t want to start new topic about the same thing.
I washed filter on my dc44, left it to dry, and after few hrs i put it back in dyson.
Pushed the button and it worked, but soon after water stred to coming out of the back panel, obviously filter wasn’t dry enough.
Turned it off, and disassembled it, filter on radiator to dry, after sort of 24 hrs i put it back together and it didn’t work, put it on charge, and still nothing.
I took it apart completely, didn’t see anything obvious.
I checked the voltage on battery pack, but it came out as 0V, which is a bit strange. Now is it possible that battery pack is dead?
I tried to check voltage while it is plugged in to charger, but nothing came out, stil sor of 0V, 0.3V.
Motor spins easily, so it is not sized, ciecuit board looks good, all connection looks dry, i know that it might be internall damage to chips or capacitors, but is it worth getting new battery and trying it out, or just bin it, and get whole new body for it?
Charger is on, as the light on plug is on, solid light, not flashing.
Regards
