Hello again,

The above advice was taken and when I removed the top of the machine, sure enough the connector plug on that particular dial had come off. Fairly relieved, thinking problem solved, I reconnected and put a wash on. Unfortunately the same problem reared it’s ugly head again. I took the hood off and took meticulous care in making sure the connector was on properly but unfortunately the problem persisted.

Does Jim or anyone else have any idea what the problem may be? Will I be shelling out for a new timer and if so, how much would I expect this to cost?
