What is the difference between machines with the numbers like 241000 or 28280?

I have tried the Bosch site but there doesn’t seem to be significant differences between the machines in the same WAN category.

As far as I can tell:
WAE24369 Classixx
WAE24461 Maxx7
WAE24061 Maxx 6
Classixx WAE 28167

Classixx are the budget range and Maxx are the non-core, whatever that means.

Is it true that Siemens now make much better machines?
