Haier-CCT Holdings Ltd. (1169.HK) said Friday its full-year loss widened mainly due to a HK$732.2 million impairment of goodwill charge.
The Hong Kong-based telecom equipment maker had a net loss of HK$856.4 million in the 12 months ended Dec. 31, compared with HK$66.3 million in the previous year
Loss per share widened to 8.6 HK cents from 0.72 HK cents. The company declared no final dividend, as was the case a year earlier.
Earlier this month, China’s Haier Group injected a washing machine business and its stake in a mobile handset joint venture into Haier-CCT for a total consideration of about HK$1.50 billion in cash, shares and bonds.
