These fault codes are displayed as a series of flashing LEDs or lights on many popular washer dryer models from Hotpoint but actually made by Indesit and sold under the Indesit, Ariston and Hotpoint brand names using what is known as the EVO2 software. This machine actually looks like a variant of a Philco toploader that wasn’t sold in the UK under the Philco brand name.

The boards from Indesit will also often need to be programmed. This is done using a program on a laptop (that only Indesit has) or using a pre-loaded card that can be used with a special tool to flash the EEPROM in the washing machine or washer dryer. If you do not have access to either of those and your electronic control PCB needs changed, you will not be able to do it yourself unless you get someone to pre-configure the board for you.
