Italian appliance maker Indesit Company SpA said chief operating officer Giovanni Carlino is quitting the company to pursue a new business opportunity.
An Indesit spokesman said Indesit will probably not fill the post, which was held by Mr. Carlino for 2 and a half years and did not exist before that.
COO is one of two posts at this level, he said, adding that the chief commercial officer post is not likely to be altered. (AFX)
