NEW DELHI: As a global strategy, LG Electronics will strengthen focus on home networking “” launching and pushing an array of net-enabled home appliances products.
Future growth lies in home networking with internet refrigerator, washing machine and microwoven, Nam K Woo, president & CEO of LG Electronics said.
Sounding bullish and happy on growth of LG’s India operations, Woo said the appliances major plans to launch a series of top-end digital products in India, mainly LCD/ Plasma TVs with larger screen, better quality picture, resolution.
As the demand grows here, LF India is also open to create manufacturing facilities for these top-end products. Plans are also afoot to make Indian manufacturing as an export base for the global markets, he added.
LG India officials said parallel to the global trend, digital revolution is happening here too.
