NESN have landed a contract with DSGi to service Bosch products covered under the DSG “Coverplan” scheme. The cover is effectively the extended warranty offered to consumers by DSGi in stores, primarily Currys.
The contract also allows for repairs out of warranty, on a chargeable to the customer basis, to be passed directly to the repair agent.
This contract starts or goes live, on August 12th and is quoted as being to cover “initially” Bosch appliances sold by DSG.
Repair cover for Frigidaire products sold through DSG will follow shortly after with a “go-live” date of 21st August this year.
At this time it is unknown whether other products will be added to this contract.
Spare parts are being handled by Qualtex, a well known and long established trade spares distributor and spare parts are available to NESN agents through a contractual arrangement. Spare parts for Bosch products sold by DSG are not available directly to end users. Of course UK Whitegoods can supply any spare parts for Bosch products sold by Currys or otherwise directly to the public.

The contract also includes a speed of service payment which is designed to reward NESN repairers with a higher rate for a faster service.
At this time we are not aware that NESN require any additional service agents to cover this work.
