Aga has unveiled a new Deluxe version of its popular Masterchef product that features a redesigned exterior and ceramic hotplate.
Building on the success of the Masterchef, the latest addition to the Aga portfolio has side-opening main oven doors with handy slam catches and a new-look handrail.
With two lower electric fan ovens, an electric slow-cooking oven at the top left and a rapid dual-zone grill to the right, the Masterchef Deluxe comes in traditional Aga Cream or stunning Black.
The new Ceramic Hotplate has five ceramic rings on the hotplate, with a central oval ring designed to be used with a fishkettle or large stock pans.
A classic addition to any home and an essential tool for British food fans, the first Aga was produced in the 1800s and most of the casting for modern Agas still takes place in Coalbrookdale, Shropshire, where Abraham Darby first melted iron using coke.
Every new Aga is now manufactured using 70 per cent recycled materials and is 70 per cent recyclable in the future. The company has been working towards greater environmental sustainability and energy efficiency to ensure that green customers continue to keep Aga at the heart of their homes.
