An inquest held regarding a Beko tumble dryer that went on fire in Birmingham and is allegedly the cause of a fatality has been held.

Okay hands up, the headline is a bit misleading as despite reports that we’ve seen in the media this was not an explosion at all. Not even close in our opinion.

In this morning’s Sun newspaper there is a report of another Beko tumble dryer that has apparently burst into flames.

The mergers are coming thick and fast this year with now Arcelik, the parent company of Beko, snapping up the Dawlance brand in Pakistan for a reported $258 million.

If it was bad enough already with the rash of reports about the infamous tumble dryers seemingly bursting into flames now there’s a report of a Beko one as well.
