Available in 21-cubic foot models, the refrigerators make sense for new or remodeled kitchens. Homes built in the ’70s and ’80s very often had smaller openings for the refrigerator, while a full one-third of homes built in the 1990s have a central kitchen island, which can prevent a standard refrigerator door from opening completely. So, whether a homeowner is building a new kitchen or remodeling an existing one, the new Kenmore Elite counter-depth refrigerator can extend up to five inches less into the kitchen. The 69-inch height also fits with existing construction and space limitations.

This Kenmore Elite side-by-side comes with all the high-end features customers have come to expect from Kenmore’s premium brand.
The Kenmore Space Saver in-the-door ice system provides up to 20 percent more freezer space(1). Slide-out freezer baskets make it convenient to reach frozen foods. Crushed or cubed ice and water is available through-the-door.
The water filtration system has a filter indicator light that alerts homeowners when the filter needs to be changed. Located in the front grill of the refrigerator, the filter is easily accessible and changeable. A child lockout feature allows only the adults of the household to access the water and ice dispenser.
These Kenmore Elite counter-depth refrigerators also feature the cutting edge Grocery Savor(TM) and Fast Freeze Systems. The temperature controlled meat pan, humidity crisper and snack drawer maintain freshness of your food.
The 21-cubic foot models are available in smooth white (regular price $1,999), smooth black (regular price $2,029) or coated stainless steel (regular price $2,199). The coated stainless steel is designed to resist fingerprints and hold magnets, unlike many stainless models today. The new counter-depth refrigerators are now available in Sears stores nationwide.
