Moderatorhas anyone managed to download the login programme for Qualtex’s on line ordering? The old spares link is switched off today but aside from the rep asking me for a new password I have heard nothing from them about this.

Well as today is their ‘switch over day’ I know there are a few Qualtex guys running around like headless chickens trying to sort it right now. π
Maybe it’ll all be straightened out and up and running tomorrow? π

it works to a point but as i have just found out it doesnt give alternative parts on an element i want but spareslinks does and the pricing between the two is about 13 quid, also it seems to want adding extra quanties to what im requesting once its goes in the basket as well .My rep is looking into it. Double check with spareslink !

if you login with the wrong credentials it will take you to the homepage by default.
username: your account number
password: the one you told your rep when he called you to ask for it ??June 2, 2008 at 3:30 pm #253522jeremy

eastlmark the instructions on the website for downloading the login app are misleading, click on the link as you would any other link then choose save.

Done that but get the message that I need something called “.net framework version 1.1.4322”
after following the instuctions to download that, I end up with version 3.***** and still get the message from that I need the earlier version.
Will call them tomorrow and try get it sorted. Never had to download a “login Programme” on any other web site.
Not looking good at the moment and IMO nothing wrong with the old spareslink which they should have left running for a few weeks for problem sorting.June 2, 2008 at 6:10 pm #253524iadom

It is a bit of a dogs breakfast. It will not work with NET.3.
There is a link on that site you are taken to NET.1.1 if you use the download links at the top of the page, you can also download the service pack for NET.1.1 at the same time but do that after you have installed NET.1.1Or get it from HERE
The service pack is HERE
Installed fine, the only problem I have is finding out my username/password, need to speak to someone. π

Works okay for me, not to impressed with the pricing though, most things are dearer than my other accounts.

hi 21 rich, click on log in link on left of home page and download the bit of software, go through set up which will leave an icon on your desktop, click on that and will take you to login screen. it will only work on one pc only. rep should be able to set up on multiple pc’s later. rep also told me its not quite so simple on vista.

bzz67 is spot on with that info to get it up and running. For a USERNAME & PASSWORD give Sittingbourne a ring and they will set it up for you within the hour!:D

I’ve had no bother since installing the program although I did have to download net1.1 first. The only thing that I would point out is to ensure you use the icon created on your desk top NOT the main web address. I am assured that part alternatives are being added daily and as in many cases IT is only as good as the user, please be patient.
