ParticipantNo more paper statements to help the environment!!!
Why don’t they stop sending the shiny specials books that always end up in the bin. Couple of good sized trees a month wasted there I’d think 😈 .Gripe over 😉 .

phoned them three times to put printable version button on statement page. they have done that now, but it only shows the whole amount thats owed including this months, when you uncheck the boxes the total stays the same. i have phoned them again and told them, so hopefully you will soon be able to print off just one months statement

They don’t all end up in the bin, my copy is a great levelling device. 😉

Whats more, if you do hit the print button, the default is for 2 copies, one to send with cheque (if paying by that method) hence now 2 pieces of paper when there was only one when they printed them for us. Lets face it, its just a money saving ploy dressed up as a green issue.

Mm ! Well that explains why we never received our statement this month, there was me thinking that as the Goverment are bailing financial companies out left right and centre that Connect were giving us a months grace ! What surprises me is that no-one at connect ever got round to advising their clients of this important change, still when companies get so big they sometimes lose sight of what is important and whats not.

I think they told us about this by means of a message on the website. I don’t know what the message said as it expired before I got round to reading it :rolls: I’m tempted to just not pay them until they chase me but the trouble is they are liable to just withhold future orders 😡

Heaven forbid !!!:rolls:
Forgive my cheeky remark…all done in jest please be assured…but there are much better wholesalers out there…. Connect are at the bottom of my list of favourites, a last resort in my opinion.
I prefer using an all brands wholesaler that charges realistic prices whether you spend £50 a month or £5,000 a month. Connect have never ventured into that way of trading.
Or to put it another way…………..

Spares prices from them keep rocketing.Wma interlocks have gone from 1.99 to 3.39 in the last week.Their pattern Hotpoint Wma door boot to me are 8.87,which is over a pound dearer than an original.I was told by a rep that i am a dying breed because i recon machines and they concentrate on other things
They have a huge stock so if they wont give me discount i will use them just when i need a spare that no one hasOctober 17, 2008 at 7:10 am #264574Phidom

It is still cost effective for me to order from Connect in many cases because I have a special deal on minimum order for free delivery. If I have time I like to compare overall order costs though and try to order from Masterpart or Homespares as much as I can. I still prefer Connect to Parts Center, who are my “last resort” supplier.
