An elderly man suffered burns in a gas explosion at his home in West Sussex.
Firefighters were called after the blast at the bungalow in Stroud Drive, North Bersted, Bognor Regis, on Sunday
When crews arrived at about 1100 BST they found the windows had been blown out in the explosion and the injured man being cared for my neighbours.
The man was taken to hospital and the fire service and Transco are carrying out investigations to establish the cause of the blast.
Two fire engines from Bognor Regis attended the incident.
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said it believed the explosion involved a gas appliance in the kitchen.
