Employees at Electrolux’s AEG factory in Nuremburg, Germany, voted to strike in demand of improved severance when the plant is shuttered in 2 years.
The indefinite, scheduled to start Friday, was called when negotiations broke down between Electrolux and the workers’ union.
The union, IG Metall, wants more money and better training for the workers who will lose their jobs when laundry appliance production is moved to Poland and Italy
