Like a number of other traditionally large kitchen appliance manufacturers Beko has introduced a range of small kitchen appliances.
The initial range includes microwaves, kettles, toasters, irons, coffee machines and food blenders etc.
How good or bad they are we don’t know but we’d expect them to be budget products and we don’t know who’s making them for Beko either at this point although we’d fully expect a mixed bag there.
Distribution of these new products is being handled be the EPE Group, the distributor of branded small domestic appliances and floorcare, who are the appointed the exclusive distributor of Beko’s range of small appliances.
EPE Group will handle Beko’s full SDA range, which includes a kitchen machine, bean-to-cup coffee machine, Silent Storm EcoSmart vacuum cleaner and SteamXtra Smart Station iron
EPE managing director Noel Pamment said: “Beko is the second largest brand in Europe in the white goods sector and has been the fastest-growing brand in the overall European market in the last seven years.
“With its leading position, Beko is one of the most important players in the UK’s home appliances market, and I’m pleased that this strong brand has chosen EPE to be its exclusive distributor for the Beko SDA range.”
Guess we can expect some branded up as Grundig or Blomberg soon enough then!
