If you didn’t know it before, Beko has an app they call Homewhiz and they’ve updated it to include, guess what? Yup, AI they say.
There are no definitive details that can be found on whether this app works only in its own ecosystem or if it can communicate with others, but we suspect that it won’t and it’s a closed system.
The app has been around for a while, hence this is an update to that system and not a new app.
Whilst it appears to do a fair few things, according to the press release in full below, it’s difficult to see what meaningful benefits it brings to owners. Many of the features mentioned seem, at least to us, like things people are likely to look at once or twice and then largely ignore or forget about. Mileage will vary, we suppose, on how much use it is to each individual.
There’s also no mention of any sort of subscription or such, so that’s a good thing.
