Bosch beat names like GE, LG, Maytag and Whirlpool in the United States to be ranked highest in customer satisfaction in the clothes dryer segment by J.D. Power and Associates in their 2006 Major Home Appliance Study. Bosch earned the highest ranking among dishwasher and clothes dryer manufacturers due to its overall customer satisfaction in functionality and performance.
While this is the second annual J.D. Power and Associates home appliance study, this is the first time they have examined customer satisfaction with laundry appliances.
“Ranking the highest in two of the J.D. Power and Associates major appliance study segments confirms that our products’ value, quality and performance resonate with our consumers,” said Franz J. Bosshard, president and CEO.
Among other key factors cited by consumers, Bosch dryer owners noted its low noise level during operation, aesthetic design, color and finishes, and the length and scope of the warranty.
